I have looked over the web, experimented a while, but i honestly cant seem to change the colour of Water without losing the quality of the ripples and waves. Any hints?
If its helpful, i have CS3.

Channel Swap. Select the area you wish to change and go to Layer > Layer Adjustments and select Channel Swap. Here you can mess with sliders. Never change the hue, this skews all colours, making green purple and blue orange or whatever. Channel Swaping effectively swaps colours with another without affecting anything else. I channel swap the red & blue layers with my infrared photos (take note of the Mr/Apr '09 Herald.
To effectively swap a colour, say red, select the red channel and decrease it to 0. Select Blue and increase it to 100. Now, select the blue channel and decrease it to 0 and increase red to 100. And you've swapped the colours. This can be done for any combination.
