I'm trying to get back into PS, seeing as how I haven't used it in a while, could someone tell me what is going on. All the brushes I use, even default, will come out white. Even if the foreground color is something different, it will always be white.
Settings: Opacity 100% Tolerance 0%
I've toyed with them but it still turns out white.

Which version of Photoshop do you have?
Do colors work for everything else?

I can assume you have a paid version? And, maybe you have the mode on something wrong like Exclusion or something. (under brushes)

Actually, I played with it today and found that it doesn't always turn the background white. It erases it like the eraser tool. With my background to transparent, it'll turn it transparent.
Sorry, double post. :X

its been awhile since anyone said anything, but if you still have the problem, changing the RGB may do something, like turn it to Moniter RGB, i think that is how mine works.
if that doesn't work, just reinstall adobe photoshop, that should fix it if nothing else helps.
