It could work, you're able to add a line to all the V5 codes so that they only apply to the V5 skin. And add a line to all the V2 codes (Which there aren't a lot of anyway) so that they only apply to the V2 skin.

The v2 skin wasn't taken very well when they did it for April Fools. And it would only add to the load time, something which is just now starting to be somewhat good for me.

Well like I said, there weren't that many codes in V2, so I don't think it would make a big difference on loading time.

The battle board table didn't work, because I took out the script for it. I'm sure it's very possible to do, ACoolie mentioned it to me while it was up. However, it wouldn't be long before people are asking for V3/V4 being placed up there too.

I like the idea, but not the idea of having V2 as an opition. I wouldn't mind having it for V5 and V6.

I refuse to create a code to choose between skins and changing the coding for each. It's simply not worth it. Not unless I was able to rely heavily on variables for each skin. Even then, I still see too much room for errors. As stated before, what'll happen is requests for all versions to be added. I don't have any coding for any other version than this and the main page for v4. At one time I had archives, but I've sense lost them. There's simply not enough reference (that actually works) that would make a "project" such as this worth it, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong though, I would love to be able to do this. If this was a PHP run forum it'd be quite possible with fast loading times too. But, it's not, and..yeah.

There's already a built in feature to add extra skins that people can switch between in their profile. And you could just make it against the rules to request the V3 and V4 skin to be added.

Yes, but I think the problem remains the coding of the forums. There is a code to do it all with, but from what I have heard, it can really cause some lag.
As for the rule idea, since when has anyone ever read the rules? I made a new thread about voting in one of my boards and after a week it had gotten 10 views. 4 of which were from me editing the way the new rule was stated.

Well, you could put a message in the main page header for a week announcing the new rule.

I don't really like this idea, if any V3. (I loved that skin so much ) V2 as Josh said was an April fools joke, and V6 is in the making.

It'd increase loading times a lot probably, but you wouldn't need to re-code it. I mean, what's the sense of doing something that's already been done? By the way, I know because I've used it for a skin I've created (also on my test board).

There's no need for a whole new code. Just add this line to the beginning all the V5 codes
if(pb_skinid == 1){ (code) }
And add this line to the beginning all the V2 codes
if(pb_skinid == 2){ (code) }

You can't add an extra line?
