Karma counts don't matter. If they were an acurate reflection of the person, rather than the mood-swings of 10 year old children, karma could actually be a good system for things. For example, at many programming forums they have a karma system where you can agree or disagree with a post. You can specify how many points you agree or disagree with (1-10 or somethng like that). Then it is set up. So say you helped someone out in the code support section, they should then "agree" with your post and give you karma. Of course on PB you'd only click exalt. If someone did something that was rude or perhaps complained about something that they should be grateful for, you smite. However, I think that this forum lacks the maturity to be able to pull it off right now. It's one number that doesn't affect anything.
