I saw it 11am on Friday. It was amazing. I have never had any interest either. I wanna go see it again like.. tomorrow. lol
Oh. I should also mention that I was completely sick too. I wanted to see that movie that bad that I went despite me being nauseated, light headed, cold, and having diarrhea. lol
EDIT: Simon Pegg was the best part, btw

Never watched a Star Trek episode in my life so didn't know what to expect. I thought it was going to be like Star Wars haha. But, I thought it was a pretty sick film and definitely one of the better ones of 2009.
How has the film done in the box office? Doesn't star trek have a huge fan base?

I've never shown much interest in Star Trek. I know a few of my friends enjoy it on occasion. Hell, I've never even really given Star Wars a fair chance. I know they're completely different, though. After seeing previews, though, I thought I may give it a chance. I'm broke right now, though, so it may have to wait a while.

Figured I'd mention that it also broke IMAX opening weekend records set by The Dark Knight last year.

I find it odd that non-trekies are finding it so good. I know I definitely wouldnt have enjoyed it as much if I didnt watch Star Trek as a kid 'Cause you pick up on the little stuff. "Im givin' her all shes got capt'n" I lol'd so hard. It also felt like an older episode for reasons I cant say so I dont spoil it.

That was hilarious. Have you seen the Star Wars/Harry Potter script?

Yeah, you can actually do that with a lot of films. A lot of films follow the same basic outline of story telling (it has a name but I can't remember what it is. lol)
