Dalton, you may have your opinion, that's fine. However, the fact that just a week ago you came to me saying how you wanted me as a friend yet you're pulling this is kind of pathetic. And Lamaenic is right about one thing, I am a designer, I may not be as advanced as some others, or show off my work all the time. But I am. And if I'm not a writer, what in the hell do you call the Herald? I do nothing but writing every day of my life. Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean a damn thing. This is the one thing I'm sick of, because frankly if it wasn't for me SSD would be closed by now. As much respect as I have for the past admins, I've stuck around, even when my life has been in ruins, I've been here. I have more important things to be doing, but I choose to stick it out with SSD. So don't you ever question my dedication to SSD, that's something I will defend til the end.
Who cares if I'm emotional sometimes? I'm a human being, get over it. I realize that most people think that my view of 'getting over' things is unprofessional, but it's a part of life, and a part of the real world. Sometimes you just have to deal with things that you don't like.
And Lamaenic, that was a true low blow, no matter if you were defending me or not.
I'm really finding this sad that I have to spend the little time I have internet access on my vacation defending myself against someone who was just graveling to me a week ago.
oh, and Josh comes and goes as staff because despite his 'times off', he's active, and pushes to keep the activity going. Some of you may not agree with that, but he has put a lot of time, and dedication into this site just as much as I have. he has personal matters to deal with just like the rest of us.

Dalton, I'm flattered that you have higher regards for me because I'm an artist and staff, but seriously, there are much more qualifying factors that need to be looked at. So you need to look at such factors before totally denouncing your admins. If you can find legitimate reasons as to how they are doing such a terrible job that they should leave, then by all means, let us know so it can be remedied. But I highly doubt that you can find anything. They're doing everything in their power to keep SSD afloat--we all are.
Right now though, all I'm really seeing is what's killing SSD, right here in this thread. Nothing we ever discuss these days seems to be able to stay on topic--it always ends in flaming and fighting. Every single thread practically. And it's not any one person, it's a collective of people who are picking fights they don't need to. Each and every one of us has done it at least once, if not more. We are not providing the friendly atmosphere that new members feel welcomed with. I know it's why I tend to stay out of Chillout; because I don't want to deal with the crap.
So my big suggestion, and this is for the entire community, is that we all need a reality check and realize that there are some battles that are better left un-fought. We all need to pick our fights better, and if we must argue, debate in a rational manner. The negativity has to go. And should it get nasty, we need to learn to be the bigger person, and just walk away. Opinions are great, but they're like assholes. Everyone has one, and they all stink. So seriously, if you are going to share your opinion, that's fine, but read through it a second time with an open mind to make sure it can't be taken the wrong way.
That way, we can provide a more positive environment for new members. Negativity is not going to help SSD.

If this is a Coup d'état, it's a sad attempt. I'll admit. You don't question a method and/or board that is doing a damn fine job or if you can't do it better. If you want something to be looked at, then bring it up professionally. Send private messages to the "gmods," mods and Admins asking them to comment if you want to kick start your thread. No admin on a forum should reject such a thread. A negative or positive change is still a change and any administration that endorses change will accept any brand of change brought up in a proper manner.
Chucking a rock that addresses the war in Iraq at the Presidents speech for the Stimulus Package isn't going to get anything fixed in Iraq; and I see that here. Kay propesed a "stimulus package" for SSD that asks us about what kind of contests we, as a community, wish to see and partake in. And someone decided to chuck a comment in about the administration here at SSD. Like, Fuck. That was genius! Everyone is taking to your comment so nicely. God, I can just read the ice on these posts.
Okay so, we aren't attacking one another. Thankfully. But please, take this intruding manner else where. It's impeding on future, positive, activity here at SSD. As a recently active member here at SSD and seeing this "war" is almost deterring. I have another community I visit daily that has a photoshop, programming and other threads here. But you know what, I come here and post my photo's and knowledge. If this shit continues I'll move my whole operation back over the other community.
As a member who would rather stay here I'm tell you guys to get your rear in gear.

Also, Kay is too a designer. She doesn't show off her work in the critique section but she does design. You'd rather have an admin that did nothing but was a great designer rather than an admin that contributed much and didn't design often? How illogical and inescapably autistic of you to act that way. You're pathetic. I'm not defending, nor criticizing, Dalton, but don't you ever drop that kind of personal attack again. You're kidding right? I mean, any other kind of personal attack is okay, as long as it doesn't hit home? Bullshit. I honestly don't want to hear another word about it vastly because I don't take back what I said, I say things like that to Dalton all the time if it was a question of regularity and an "unnatural" use of vocabulary. It is so natural for me to talk to him that way that I honestly had no idea what you were calling me pathetic over until I saw that you pointed it out. As far as I'm concerned I did nothing wrong and really don't care what the heck any of you hypocrites think. You insult people all the flippin time but as long as you don't make fun of a mental or physical disability it's instantly ok? Give me a break. Shut up. Glad to see you're making standards for yourself.

Glad to see you're making standards for yourself. Now, I'm not sure what exactly you mean by it hitting at home, seeing as I do not have a mental or physical disability. I could waste my time writing some large reply to your elementary defense, but why bother? The only thing I will say in response is... - I have higher standards than you could ever imagine, anyone that knows me well knows this.
- But ignoring that, this isn't even an issue of standards, it's an issue of tact, maturity, and boundaries, not standards.
- You want a break? I've given you a break since you came here. Every other post you make has had me asking myself once again how it is statistically possible for so many from my generation to be so hopelessly useless, frankly.
EDIT: Oh, and here's some aggression: Find a closet and go urinate in a bucket of bleach inside of it.

Lamaenic and James, that was completely unnecessary to continue on.
warnings will be issued, and maybe I'll attempt this thread another time when it can be taken better.
