It was supposed to be people outside of SSD actually, however, I was fed the wrong information since I don't usually do anything other than news.

Great edition. Some good reads. Well done on the HP article, Ryan. And Oliver, you picked all of the "big names" for your Top 5 Artists. Good job too Max aswell for all of the other smaller articles, like the Events article. Well done all. they should do more up and coming, rather than the best, 'cause everybody knows who the best are. Try something new, rather than something that everyone knows. -nod- "Unknown Artists" rather than the "Top 5". Pfft. You just want to be in it.

I'm still reading it. Awesome issue. <3 Morgoth. One of the best reads I've had in a while. And that would be me that said Jackson is known over the actors. <3 Either

Really? Odd. Never seen a word that has two spellings like that.

It would only be czar if it weren't for the French.

Just ruins the grace of the language. As for the HP article, thanks guys. That would of been in December, but alas, no. Oh, yeah, and Narnia should of been the movie of the month.

Decent, I suppose.
But now, as a reader, I have to ask this: why is there such a wide, varied (and often uninteresting) range of topics? Why were they not run through Spellcheck? Why is the English more fractured than the old U.S.S.R.?
Oh, and Ass- your hypocrisy amuses me. Now you can (maybe) understand how draining it is to have to worry about everyone else turning everything in on time and then you getting it out (as neat as humanly possible) before deadline.

There is a large range of topics because there are a large range of people- we try to cater to everyone, just as a real newspaper would.
It is all divided into sections: News Features Editorials Entertainment Coding/Computer Graphics and Photography
Each has its place on this forum.
The editing was not as well done on this issue due to time constraints and holidays. As the only current editor who was out of the state visiting relatives until a day before it was released, I feel I deserve a bit of liniency on this. Read the last Herald and you will see it is usually done much better. I apologize that our English standards do not live up to your own, but do not forget the first lesson of writing for the masses is writing on a 7th grade level. Introduce me to a 7th grader who has a hard time reading our issue and I will personally rewrite every article.
And lastly, keep the personal comments out of this thread, Artos.
Every criticism you post, every insult you throw out, is going to be fielded completely by me now, Artos. I am the acting editor and I am responsible for this product. If there are failings, I apologize and take it as my own fault. Think about that before you post in bitterness, trying to ruin a product that so many worked on because of your own past experiences.
There will be no more responses to his post.

Artos- don't come around here and become a complete and honest ass to everybody. Nobody asked for your critical comments. You're one asshole that this board does more than well without. Why don't you get a damn hobby and stop bothering us with your shit-comments on every single thing you don't like. You're a pathetic excuse of a person, wasting your time and everybody else's with your posts. Why the hell do you continue to return?
