I am strict at the rules, and i like making strict rules of my own. I am fairly new at this type of thing, but hope to get better. This challenge may not even be accepted by anyone... but i figure whoever does challenge me will have a challenge (from the rules) but it'll be easy (because im new at this). Got it? good (if not re-read from line 2). Now for the rules: Sig battle: 400 x 100 px Theme: the letter 'Q' specific "cant-do's": - cant use pictures, or any pre-made items
- cant use gradients (i know harsh to a certain extent)
- cant use the color blue (in any way shape or form, i.e. green purple etc.) limited to red and yellow and orange and shades i.e. black, white etc.
- cant use animations of any sort
- cant use the latin letter 'Q' in any way (including lower case, or making a "shape" of it)
harsh huh? well ill be honest i love challenge myself, and i wont lie i made these rules up as i pressed enter to type a new one lol. it'll be fun. i havent planed anything. i do however like the number letter Q a lot though. due date? um.... the 12 of december. max # of players? um.... 5 (including myself) thats it, if any questions post, or if i forgot something post, or if an admin doenst like it, or aprove of it, delete it.... thanks for reading! I am not sure if you will manage 5 people and have them not be able to use pictures or pre-mades.
However I am up for the challenge, if you want to go with 3, that would be the smart thing, accecpt one more challenger, we dont tend to get alot of votes, so the less participants, the easier and quicker the decision comes.
Also, how many votes to decide the winner?

everyone OK with the due date?
I started my entry today and will for surely have it up by then, but if anyone wants to make it sooner or later thats ok with me.
And as for the "no pics or pre-made" thing... looking at a banner usually one can tell if there are pics in it... pre-mades are just a basis for saying no searching google or using any database things...

Well... hopefully I can get to it soon right now I need to do the following...
• edit a film for screening on friday
• finish a wood sculpture by thursday/ friday
• start on a final screen printing project
• clean my studio space
• prepare for studio show on friday
• 20 pages of journal entries to do because I procrastinate
• edit 10 page short story
• all has to be done by early friday
Basically, its finals for Mr. Art Student and that means finish my projects and prep for our show on friday. Then im dont with school til the end of January.
I wont get started til satruday or sunday most likely.

Thats not a Latin 'Q' its a Etruscan 'Q' lol... if ya think it stretches the boundaries too much i have a second backup that just changes that part. |

Mine shall be up tomorrow, just finished up with class yesterday after pulling an all nighter. Then selpt and went snowboarding all day today, now im wiped and doulbe at work tomorrow, ill do it on break. Or at night. Voting shall start monday.

My vote goes to Trout.
He managed to center the entire piece around the letter Q without actually using the letter in the piece! That takes imagination. I like Night's too, very much, in fact, but something about the brightness of Trout's made it stand out more.
