Me remembers you, Christie. Are you back for long?! I never did have a chance to mess around with Requests while it lasted, so I don't know. Maybe give it a trial run? But then again I think the argument of it bringing more activity is moot. Proboards just aren't the place people will look, when they want a Remotely-Hosted Forum anymore. And SSD just isn't the place people would look anymore, when they are talking about graphics. Maybe one or two here and there, but not many. I know I'm not helping, but it's just what I think- that it wouldn't make so much of a difference to justify the trouble.

I don't see a problem with a trial-run; but then again I never do. Give it a month, find the people who are supporting the idea and make them the mods of it. If they can keep up with the requests and still enjoy breathing, keep the board.
I'm speaking only from what I've heard about activity, but I don't think that the requests board is going to get slammed with requests the second you put it up. It would probably take awhile for the activity in that board to pick up.
I think this board as taken a turn from requests and sweat shop to a mature graphic community.. which was nice to see.
And man I don't know anyone.. haha. But I'll probably be sticking my fingers in things here and there.
